Trainer Recordings

DaDesktop offers several ways to capture desktop and course recordings—these can be Troubleshooting recordings, Training Room recordings, or Trainer recordings.

Trainer recordings specifically capture the Trainer's DaDesktop machine. You can start a session recording of the Trainer machine by following these steps.

1. Click the three vertical dots to bring up a small dropdown menu, then select 'Connect (with session recording)'

2. 

   An audio/video recording of the Trainer machine is captured, but you won't be able to view it until after you close the virtual classroom, at which point the recording is created. Note: If you're a SuperAdmin user, there's an extra menu option to watch live recordings as they're being captured.

3. To view and edit the recordings, click the cog icon and then the Recordings menu.

Recordings

You can view Trainer recordings of the trainer machine in two ways.

1. Recordings can be accessed from the Recordings menu as described. You can play and delete them as needed. The double spanner icon signifies 'Troubleshooting Recordings' (these are generated automatically and aren't intended for presentation—they're for troubleshooting as the need arises).

2. Using the 'Recordings' tab of a course, you can view Trainer recordings, Training Room recordings, and Troubleshooting recordings.
