An organisation can link someone outside of it as a trainer just by providing that person's email address.

Associate trainers carry more privileges than the standard trainers you add to a course.

They're able to set up new courses within the associate organisation, provided they stay on as the trainer for that course.

This means associate trainers can build and even run your course from start to finish—work that typically falls to the organisation's administrators.
