Conducting technical interviews requires a consistent and secure workspace. The candidate operates within a pristine desktop environment, while the interviewer has full visibility into their actions, ensuring uniformity across all participants. DaDesktop provides this on-demand infrastructure without the need for physical hardware provisioning.

What the environment provides

• Uniform setup for all candidates: Consistent tools and initial states eliminate discrepancies like 'my machine is different'.
• Isolation from personal systems: The desktop functions as a distinct sandbox, restricting the candidate's work to that specific environment.
• Reset capability between sessions: The environment can be wiped to ensure a fresh start, preventing the persistence of files or code from previous candidates.

How it works

Each candidate is allocated a cloud desktop pre-configured with the necessary tools, such as an editor, terminal, and browser. The interviewer monitors the session in real time. Upon completion, the desktop is reset, allowing the next candidate to begin from an identical starting point.

Candidates are not required to install any software. They simply access the desktop via a browser, thereby eliminating setup delays and hardware inconsistencies from the evaluation process.
