Schedule or cancel deletion of a standalone machine

Why should you care about the deletion schedule?

If you're using a standalone machine to keep working on a lab from a previous course, or as a trainer getting ready for a course, you've got nothing to worry about.

But to better conserve system resources, we’ll automatically schedule deletion for any standalone machines that sit idle for over a month here in New Zealand, and give you a 7-day heads-up beforehand.

You can also cancel the deletion schedule.
 

How you can schedule deleting a standalone machine yourself.

1. Whilst creating a standalone desktop, you can set a delete date

1. Schedule a date to delete the standalone from the Options menu

How you can clear the scheduled deletion date

1. From the Options menu, click "Scheduled to delete on" 

2. Hover over and click the blue toggle icon to quickly clear the delete date
