Pricing

DaDesktop offers four payment options:

1. Public cloud (starting at 3 EUR per day)
2. Private server (starting at 10 EUR per day)
3. Reseller or volume purchasing (starting at 0.1 EUR per day)
4. On premise
    

Public Cloud

Desktops are billed daily, beginning at 3 EUR per day for a basic Linux desktop equipped with 8GB of RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 50GB of SSD storage.

Each additional 8GB of RAM, 8 CPU cores, and 50GB of storage adds another 3 EUR to the daily rate.

Windows machines incur an extra 1 EUR per day, unless you already hold your own license.

NB Daily machine charges apply within a 24-hour period starting from midnight, local server time

 

Private Server

For predictable costs regardless of how many desktops you run or the resources allocated to any single desktop, you can opt for a full server purchase.

In this scenario, you are constrained solely by the server's resources rather than by units or desktop count. Please contact us for more detail

 

Reseller or volume discounts

Discounts of up to 80% are offered for reseller and volume purchases.

This arrangement typically suits companies planning to:

1. Integrate DaDesktop with your product
2. Resell it
3. Purchase in high volumes 
    

On-premise

The standard price for on-premise deployment is 6 EUR per core.

Case 1

An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 8 hours within a single day. 

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 2

An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for a couple of hours each day over 5 days. 

Total price: 5 days * 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Case 3

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. Desktop is deleted
3. Another desktop with the same configuration is created the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 4

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu standalone desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. Desktop is deleted
3. Another desktop with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created the same day and used for 1 hour

2 machines used, differing in configuration spec:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

1. An individual uses an Ubuntu course desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. Desktop is deleted
3. Another desktop by the same participant or trainer with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB storage is created the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

 

Courses

For Public Cloud and Reseller options, Courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on users who created desktops during the duration of the course.

Trainers

• If the Trainer gets invited to the course, the Organization Owner will be billed for the course.
• If the Trainer creates the course, the Trainer will be billed for it.

• To summarise, the Organization owner of the course created is billed for the course.
