Managing Servers

You can add or remove servers from your On-Premise or OEM DaDesktop cloud.

Managing Servers

Sync all sys info

Checks each server's CPU, memory and other key metrics, then updates the database. This info is used when DaDesktop recommends servers to users – those with more resources are prioritised.

If you've upgraded the hardware, you can sync all servers or just one.

Please be aware that if you've got more than 1000 servers, this process could take a few minutes.

Change State (Suspend, Reinstate)

Suspend a server when it's inaccessible. This stops the DaDesktop GUI from checking the state of the server and its desktops.

You might use this if a server is unavailable due to a malfunction.

Retiring Server

If you want to stop using a particular server, you can put it into retirement mode. This prevents new desktops from being created on that server, while existing desktops can still be used or copied to different servers.
